The original T1 is designed to handle any size of cattle. For any animals over 1000 pounds double banding is reccomended.
Tips
1. Put the triangular streched rubber band as close to the testicles and far below the belly as possible.
2. After cutting the rubber band, inspect the clip to make sure it is holding the rubber band correctly.
3. The tighter the rubber band is on the scrotum the better the results will be. If swelling occurs below the rubber band it is not tight enough. {RE-band immediately}
4. After castration has been performed on larger animals, drop time for the scrotum to fall off is between 20-40 days. Outside temperature can affect the length of time to drop off.
5. A tetanus toxoid injection is strongly reccommended
6. Applying pine tar to the scrotum will help protect from flies and infection.
